Emerge Speech & Language is not currently in network with insurance. However, our services are often covered by out-of-network benefits. We have partnered with Thrizer, a secure billing service that makes it easy to use your out-of-network insurance benefits.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may only owe a copay at each session, instead of the full fee. But navigating this process can be confusing and challenging. Emerge Speech & Language has parterned with Thrizer, a company that specializes in helping you access and use your out-of-network benefits. Instead of paying the full session fee and waiting for reimbursement, you only pay your portion (like your deductible or co-insurance). Thrizer bills your insurance directly and applies any reimbursement right away.
Therapy sessions are $80/30 minute sessions, and $95/50 minute sessions. Evaluations are $185 and include a comprehensive evaluation report and treatment schedule. (A formal evaluation is not required if you already have a recent evaluation from another private practice or school.)
Emerge Speech & Language is conviently located in Bakery Square, across the street from the Bakery Square Garage (in the Google 2 building) at:

Parking: There is often street parking available right in front of the building on Living Place. There is also free two hour parking in the bakery square garage, and an indoor walkway that connects the 4th floor of the garage directly to our building.
When you arrive, please take the elevator up to the second floor, and we will meet you in the waiting room. There is a large waiting room with plenty of space to spread out, various seating options, a foosball table and a coffee machine/.
Please download and fill out our pre-visit forms packet once you receive it, and email it back at least three days before your first visit. This provides important background information and saves time during the initial evaluation.
Absolutely! We encourage parents/caregivers to observe sessions – we believe that when you understand what’s being worked on during sessions-and how, it helps you to carry over new skills and practice at home. You are an important part of the team! However, if you wish to have a few moments to yourself, or if you have other children with you, you are welcome to make use of our waiting area, it’s got a foosball table, lots of seating, and a coffee machine!
Yes! If your child attends a local private school, Emerge Speech & Language can see your child for their session at school – if mutually agreed upon with the school (and if the school is within a 5 mile radius of our office location). Please inquire for more information about this option.
Sessions are typically 1-2 times per week for 30 minutes (in some cases 50 minutes). It’s hard to say how long your child may need speech-language therapy, every child progresses at their own pace. But, consistent attendance, and working on carry over skills at home makes a big difference!
